Helpdesky includes a built-in SEO Advisor that analyzes your articles and suggests improvements to help them rank better in search engines. You can run analysis manually or set it up to run automatically on a schedule.
Analyzing an Article
Open Help Center > AI SEO Advisor in the top navigation. In the Suggestions tab, select a published article and click Analyze. The advisor scores your article and identifies issues across several areas:
- Title — Length and keyword optimization
- Slug — URL structure and readability
- Content — Length, readability, and structure
- Headings — Proper use of heading hierarchy
- Meta description — Excerpt quality and length
One-Click Fixes
For each issue found, the SEO Advisor can suggest a fix. You can preview the suggested change and apply it with a single click. Changes are applied directly to your article — no manual editing needed.
Internal Linking
The advisor can scan your articles and suggest internal links between related content. Internal links help visitors discover more of your articles and improve your SEO by showing search engines how your content is connected. When suggestions are found, you can review and apply them individually.
SEO Automation
For recurring optimization, open the AI Optimization tab and find Scheduled Automation.
- Review what each automated run will change.
- Turn on Enable automation.
- Choose the frequency using Schedule. The schedule control is disabled while automation is off.

The highlighted switch enables scheduled runs. It is off in this example, so Schedule is disabled.
Each scheduled run analyzes up to 5 published articles and applies up to 3 fixes per article, such as changes to titles, excerpts, and headings. Changes are marked Automated in Change History.
Automated runs use the AI API key configured in Settings. These runs change article content, so review the results in Change History and undo individual changes when needed.
Helpdesky does not charge overage fees. If you connect your own AI provider key, usage is billed separately by that provider. We recommend setting a spending cap in your AI provider account and regularly monitoring your usage and spending there.
Bulk Optimization
For a one-time optimization, use the Run Once Now card in the same AI Optimization tab. Click Generate Optimization Plan to begin the planning workflow. This card describes a scan across published articles, with a maximum of three fixes per article. Review the plan and the next on-screen action before applying changes.
Change History
Every SEO change is logged in the Change History section. You can see exactly what was changed, when, and on which article. If you disagree with a change, use the Undo button to revert it instantly. Review the history after automated runs to make sure changes still match your product and writing style.
