- Create a branded help center with your own logo, colors and hero text, hosted at the Helpdesky address, on your own subdomain, on a subfolder of your site or headless inside your own templates
- Write rich articles using Markdown or a visual editor with callout blocks, images, and YouTube embeds
- Organize with categories to group articles into logical sections with custom icons and drag-and-drop ordering
- Leverage AI to generate article content using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Grok
- Optimize for SEO with automatic sitemaps, meta tags, server-side rendering, and built-in analysis tools
- Integrate via API to manage your content programmatically with a full REST API

Once you log in, the dashboard is your home base. The top navigation gives you quick access to:
- Help Center > Articles — view, create, edit, and manage all your help articles
- Help Center > Categories — organize your content into groups
- Branding — customize the appearance of your help center
- Settings — configure your helpdesk name and AI provider
- Help Center > Domain & Address — pick where your help center lives: the Helpdesky address, your own subdomain, a subfolder of your site or headless
- Help Center > AI SEO Advisor — analyze and improve your content search engine visibility
- Settings > API Integration — generate API keys for programmatic access
Open Helpdesk in the top navigation, then choose Articles or Categories to manage your content.
Your public help center is always accessible at https://helpdesky.io/help/your-slug. It can also live on your own subdomain, on a subfolder of your site or headless inside your own templates. Choose under Help Center → Domain & Address, or compare the options in Choosing Where to Host Your Help Center.
